Frequently Asked Questions

What are wax melts?

Wax melts are similar to a scented candle in that they are fragranced wax that release a wonderful aroma as they warm. They are placed in the bowl of a wax warmer that can be either electric or tealight.

How should I use wax melts?

Ensure that your burner is intended for wax and not fragrance oil.  Pop a wax melt in the dish of your burner and allow it to melt. In candle burners we recommended using unscented standard 4 hour tealights. Never leave a lit burner unattended. Our wax melts are strong and highly scented so we recommend using only one of them at a time to begin, particularly if you are new to the experience.

How long do your wax melts last?

This depends on the fragrance and individual wax burner but generally 6-8 hours for our standard sized individual melts .

How do I clean my burner?

We find the best way is to light your burner for around 30 seconds - just long enough for it to be warm but still safe to handle - and then extinguish and remove your tealight. The wax in the bowl should have softened enough to separate from the bowl and you can wipe it out with a cloth or kitchen paper.

What are your most popular scents?

This changes with the seasons.  The most popular scents this season can be found in our Sample Box. Our current season scent list is also available and includes descriptions of all our scents.

What wax do you use?

Our wax melts are made with a blend of vegan-friendly 100% soy wax that is natural, non-toxic, sustainable, biodegradable and made in the UK.
